Ok, I didn't get a knitting tattoo....but I did get an awesome knitting tattoo necklace! Kathy over at SwallowKisses collaborated with me to design this one-of-a-kind pendant. I have admired her work for some time now on Etsy, and I am completely impressed by her work in person. The picture just does not do it justice. The colors are vibrant, and the texture is so interesting. The pendant is 2.5 x 1.5 inches, and it is on a 26 inch chain with a lobster claw clasp. It was gift boxed beautifully as well. I will definitely be a return customer.
This pendant marks the beginning of Project Spectrum for me. I know I am a few days early, but I am just so darn excited about it. The first element is Fire; and the corresponding colors are pink, red, and orange. This is a perfect kick off element for me because I am totally in love with orange shades lately. I have a ton of it in my stash, so I will be knitting up a firestorm (hehehehe) for the first phase of the project. So, brace yourself for lots of orange over the next month or so.
